 Feed The Needy Project

Feed the Needy is a home-grown initiative that is raising funds to provide less fortunate families with fresh milk. I want to express my appreciation for your generosity in support for United Welfare Organisation Valod, for everyone’s personal commitment was incredibly helpful and allowed us to reach our goal.   While our initial goal was to provide 1000 beneficiaries with fresh milk and basic necessities, we are confident that we will meet and Inshallah exceed this goal again this year...

United Welfare food Programme

Our organisation expresses its profound thanks to our sponsor (London U.K.) for his abundant donation that made this year’s project successful.

Our Food Programme targets the most vulnerable families who live in the remotest areas..

Food is a basic necessity of life. Those who are fortunate eat three square meals a day; however, over 840 million people around the world don’t even eat one square meal a day, whilst more than half a billion people are undernourished...

“Hunger is not caused by a shortage of food.”

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (2002), this is enough to provide everyone in the world with at least 2,720 kilocalories per person per day.

 The challenges

United Welfare Organisation Valod relies on the commitment and hard work of our volunteers, many of whom make personal sacrifices in order to help achieve the organisation’s objectives.

United welfare organisation believes that the desired changes in the lives of such children will come only when more and more privileged people start participating proactively in finding a solution. The Foundation also believes that the only way to ensure a better future for these children is by educating them.

Religious harmony is vital for peace, progress and prosperity in our multi-racial and multi-religious Nation. We resolve to strengthen religious harmony through mutual tolerance, confidence, respect, and understanding. We shall always promote cohesion within our society, Respect each other's freedom of religion, respecting our diversity,

Foster inter-religious communications, and thereby ensure that religion will not be abused to create conflict and disharmony.

Last, but not least, we make efforts to “foster inter-religious communications”.  More communications always help reduce conflicts.
